Do You Have A Facebook Group For Your Trade Show or Convention?
I have said for a while now that we live in a Google world. We cannot order Chinese food without first getting on Google to find the place, the menu, the number and the location. It is amazing that in such a short time we have become dependent on such a tool as a search engine on the Internet. This is continuing with other things as well.
I was recently reading a study by Nielsen Online that indicates that 3 in 10 people get on and use Facebook, the words leading social network, every month. In fact the report also states:
"Orkut in Brazil has the largest domestic online reach (70 percent) of any social network in these markets."
The fact that you are reading this right now on our company blog, makes you just like 10% of the other global online users. In fact Germany, one the biggest market for trade shows and conventions is the second highest in community participation in social networks. You can get more information from the report on the Nielsen Online blog.
If you don’t have a Facebook group or a blog or are not using the many tool available to promote your trade show or convention, you are probably missing the boat. Contact Conventions.net if you need help promoting your trade show convention or other event. Not only can we help you reach your audience, we can also help you socialize.
