Quality Logo Products Comes Through For Conventions.net and Weddings

Editor:  The following is a post that I received as an email from one of our employees at Conventions.net.  I had to post it because it is a classic example of what cool stuff happens between companies and their employees.

I don’t usually write reviews but I want everyone to know how happy I am with Quality Logo Products! I’m getting married soon and I knew I wanted to have some wine glasses personalized with our wedding date and names, so I spent some time researching different promotional products stores. Most of the websites I went to had glasses but they all seemed overpriced or their setup charges were cost prohibitive. I was honestly about to give up when I stumbled upon a coupon code for Quality Logo Products and decided to check them out.
I found some wine glasses I liked right away and got excited when I saw they were in my price range. While I was trying to estimate how much 200 glasses would cost me with shipping, I noticed there was a button that said “Live Help” under the picture of the glasses. I clicked on it because I figured it would be easier for me to just talk to someone from Quality Logo Products, and I’m SO glad I did! My rep, Anthony, was so friendly and he helped me estimate my shipping costs within a couple of minutes. He also gave me other favor suggestions based on the budget I gave him, which was very helpful because that’s how I found the bride and groom stress balls I ended up ordering with the glasses. I saved about $20 with the coupon I found, which also helped! Anthony made me feel at ease with the whole transaction and there was never a point when I was kept out of the loop. He let me see electronic proofs to make sure my wedding info was the way I wanted it, he sent me email updates to let me know when my favors shipped and to let me know my tracking number, and he always emailed me back if I had a question. I can’t imagine what my experience would have been like if I hadn’t found Quality Logo Products!
I just know that our wine glasses and cute stress balls are going to be a huge hit at the reception. The quality is amazing. Much to my surprise, thanks to the special packaging Quality Logo Products uses, not a single wine glass arrived broken – they were all still intact. I can’t wait to give them out! I couldn’t even tell you how many other online stores I searched for wedding favor ideas before I found Quality Logo Products, but I know I’ll never go anywhere else again. I’ve already recommended them to everyone I know and I will continue to do so. Don’t bother with the other promotional products sites: go to QualityLogoProducts.com right now if you know what’s good for you!

Recycling Old Trade Show Booths

I was out in the garage last night cleaning up some things when I noticed that we are getting to the point of needing to take our aluminum cans in to be recycled.  We are a green family as much as one can be in this day and age, growing some of our own food and having a compost pile and all the other things that we can do to conserve and recycle and reuse some of the stuff we have.  We are really trying to reduce our carbon footprint as well.

I began to think about all the different companies out there that are buying new trade show booths as they gear up for their marketing season in the convention and trade show world.  There are those companies out there that use their trade show booth for a single campaign and then go on to the next big thing.  What happens to the booth they were using?  Do they throw it out or do they let is sit in a warehouse someplace gathering dust and not being used?

Many companies now are recycling their old trade show booths and reusing some of the booths to be in their next show.  I love to read about trade show companies that make it easy to go green.  I am really wanting to hear from some of the trade show booth exhibit companies out there that are using recycled materials or are designing booths that can be reused and recycled.  I also want to know if there are companies that are making it possible to return booths to be recycled or reused by others.  We can reduce our footprint in the world of trade shows and conventions too.  Let me know how your companies are doing just that.  Are you recycling your trade show booth?

Nags Head Beach Ramada Plaza

If you are looking for a conference center, convention center, or trade show location that is paradise, inside the building and out – especially out – look no further than the Ramada Plaza on Nag’s Head Beach.

Nag’s Head, North Carolina, is part of the breathtakingly beautiful Outer Banks, home of the planet’s loveliest beaches.  Some of the most famous lighthouses of our time are here, along with much of our country’s pirate history.  That’s right:  I said PIRATE.  Ocracoke Island, also part of Nags Head, was home to the notorous Edward Teach, better known as Blackbeard.

The Ramada Plaza itself is a place of comfort, convenience, and plenty of room for whatever function you are planning, be it a reunion, party, reception, retreat, wedding, conference, convention, or trade show – of almost any size, too.  Small?  Medium?  Large?  Extra Large?  the Nag’s Head Beach Ramada Plaza can accommodate your every need.

Just look at that view from this conference room!

All of this can be found at the Ramade Plaza Nags Head Beach Hotel, 1701 S. Virginia Dare Trail, Kill Devil HIlls/Nags Head, NC 27948

Contact information: Phone: 252-441-2151    FAX:  252-441-1830

After your meetings, dinners, etc. are over, your attendees can step out of the hotel onto the beach, and experience the wonder that is the Outer Banks. There are many historic places within a short drive from the hotel, too. The Lost Colony of Roanoke and Kill Devil Hills (where the Wright Brothers flew that first airplane) are two of many fascinating places to visit.  Drive a little south onto the ferry at the southern tip of the islands, and your car and you will be on your way to Ocracoke Island, where you can eat at the famous Howard’s Pub, visit the British Cemetary, and explore the pirate museum, among other things.

Industry Conventions Are Seasonal?

fallleavesI was just thinking that I am getting into the busy part of my “season” with the trade shows and conventions I attend, and then I realized that I have been busy since this time last year.  That mens that I really did not have a down time or a slow time.  It began with a trip to Las Vegas last year in November, and now I am planning the same trip in October and not a month went by that I didn’t attend an event or convention, conference or trade show.

Is your industry seasonal?  I have friends that have a convention they work on that is scheduled every other year.  They work 18 months for one show and then the net show is not for another 2 years.  That is a long a drawn out process for a convention, but when it is as big as these are it makes sense.  I on the other hand am covering more than one industry and my industry is multiple industry events.  I will be in Los Angeles coming up shortly to speak at an event, followed quickly by Houston, and then back to Las Vegas. The good part is I get to see a number of facilities.  The bad news is, I get to see a number of facilities. Let me know about your industry.  Does it have a season?

The New Year Brings A New Look

We have been working feverishly here to get the new blog design up and running and getting all of the widgets working and the bells and whistles working and i think we have finally reached the part where we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Hopefully the light that we are seeing is not a freight train. We will soon be back to our normal operation here providing information commentary and all things conventions and trade shows.

I myself was very busy in January attending the CES convention in Las Vegas and speaking at a conference during that show and finally attending the Affiliate Summit West in the Rio at Las Vegas. I have some stories to tell and some other things to fill in but for now let’s just say I won’t bite off more than I can chew until we get the remaining parts to the puzzle.

As you can see we also have added a feature that will allow you to advertise here on our site and I can certainly help get you on the site, or you can refer to our media kit if you are interested in being a part of this site or the mother site over at Conventions.net. In today’s uncertain economic times we offer a very affordable way to get some exposure for your company or your event, trade show conference, meeting or convention. In the meantime, Happy New Year! I am assured that we can say that for 30 days following the actual new year coming to pass according to Miss Manners.
